The Federal Government has achieved a concurrence with individuals from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to determine the on-going mechanical activity.
Tending to writers on Monday evening after the gathering with the striking instructors in Abuja, the Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, said the greater part of their requests have been met including the arrival of N15.4 billion for installment of compensation deficiencies.
As per him, the Federal Government is additionally during the time spent discharging another N20 billion for installment of earned remittances for college speakers.
In the interim, the ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, said the National Executive Committee of the association will survey their choices dependent on the new responsibility by the legislature. It has been more than two months since the association protested following the supposed powerlessness of the administration to react to its requests.
